Our Society's objective is to celebrate and educate about our Scottish and Celtic heritage. The Scots and Scots-Irish were instrumental in the initial settlement of what is now West Virginia. Most West Virginians have at least some Scots and Scots-Irish ancestry, but many know little about either their own ancestry or the culture that has contributed so much to our State and Country.
